Fargo

Hi everyone, quick question – If I say "The Choen bros.", what comes into your mind? Most people say "movies, George Clooney". I even got the answer “weird film”  once (which was a really weird answer indeed). As for me it's none of the above. Because if you ask me, my answer will be
Fargo”.

Have you heard about this film? No? Don't know why, but I'm not that surprised. As a matter of fact I would have been more surprised if you said that you knew the movie, watched it and it's now in your film collection (the very fact that someone these days would have a movie collection s already surprising on its on) :-). So if you didn't watch it yet, it's never late to change the situation and have a go with it straightaway after reading this post.

Fargo became popular when it blew the minds of the audience at a film festival I like very much called “Sundance film festival” (about it in details a bit later). The filming and narration really stroke the audience deeply and that's really not due to promotion or advertisement like it is usually the case nowadays, but rather due to the genuine quality of the movie. To make you guys have an idea of what the movie it's all about, as usual I would advice to watch this trailer.

For those who are like me and on principle never watch trailers (yes, I'm a freaking nerd, so what?). So for those who are indeed nerdy, all I can add it that this is a detective story which evolves in a way you surely will never expect it to. Don't know what the hell was in the twisted minds of the Choen bros. when they were involved in the creation of this movie. In short it's really mind - blowing and is really worth your while. So if you have any thoughts about what to watch this or that evening with your friends and you are interested in something which is not similar to anything you've seen before, I guess "Fargo" will be a good film to watch.
