Peter Joseph

So, are you guys in lack of inspirational thinkers these days? Sob no more. Peter Joseph is probably one of the people out there you have been looking for. Indeed this is one of the personalities in this world that I would add to a "leaders" list if there is one. Not because he achieved something major in this world. Neither did he discover a ground breaking truth. Not at all. For these purposes you'd better check out all the wonderful genii we have all over the world such as Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla and others. Peter Joseph is more of a mind opener. The kind of person that opened the eyes of many (and mine as well) to the harsh realities we all live in.

First things first, Peter Joseph is the creator of Zeitgeist which is a series of documentaries covering social issues such as religion, American imperialism, the economy and much more. My experience while watching this series can only be compared with the way people come to religion. Something that grabs you and doesn't let go. Indeed, it seemed that I never asked myself the right questions regarding society and then out of nowhere not only was I given a great guideline as to what are the real issues at stake, but was equally provided with answers to these questions. The kind of questions that you really don't bother asking yourself especially when you think of the fact that you are in a comfort zone and don't wanna leave it. So, if you guys are like me and want to liberate yourselves from ignorance and so on. Feel free to watch Zeitgeist. It will really be worth your while.

In addition to all that has been said, Peter Joseph is probably one of hose people out there who breaks down very complicated notions into simply explained facts that everyone can figure out with ease. Probably this is so because of his background in show business. This enables his documentaries to be crystal clear and very concise, leading to a better understanding and perception. The best example of this is his latest series called Culture In Decline (a bit later about that) where he breaks down a variety of social issues in a very concise and elaborate manner. Moreover, this series is very fun and easy to watch making all this "isms" a much easier thing to perceive.

I can really go on and on about the merits of Peter Joseph, but think that the best thing will be for you guys to check on him for yourselves. Just one thing I will like to add, that of the necessity of such figures in our society. I have talked about this in detail in my post entitled Crazy People, but a reminder won't hurt anyone. The thing is that in the world we live in there is something that is fundamentally broken and I'm talking about the idea that we are all as a species doomed to chaos or insanity. You see, if you took an in-depth look into the world we live in you would notice that most people all have a psychopath-like behaviour. In the sense that they are all involved in a pattern of consumer-insanity and aggression that you might define as a psychological disorder. The world is broken. No one cares about the future which he leaves to his kids. Moreover, now one even care about the reality in which he or she lives. Most people just think that they will live yet another day and that will be it. They don't want to open up to the alternative realities possible for humanity if they all just have a different mind set. I mean there is technology and evolution almost in all spheres, but when it comes to human mentality and behaviour, this process seems to be slowed down or even worse non-existent. Nevertheless there is still hope and the very fact of acknowledging the ideas offered by Peter Joseph and Zeitgeist might be a step forward on it's own. I for one have condensed all this into one notion, that of "Peace, Love and Unity".
