Reggie Watts

Hello guys, quick question who is your favourite comedian, artist, performer and so on? Jim CarreyGeorge Carlin? Andy Kaufman? Whoever this person is, would really like to know the criteria by which you chose him. Is it because they are funny or there is a much higher artistic appeal to them? Whatever the case, I think the artistic appeal should be predominant in your choice and if this is the case, then there is no one better than Reggie Watts to do you justice. I for one was blown away when I first experienced a Reggie Watts performance. Indeed, I think I've never thought of the fact that there are people out there who can actually bring something new and fresh into humour and though humour and comedy is usually a reflection of society as a whole, there haven't been enough outstanding performers out there who can pull off a stunt like the one Reggie Watts does in his performances. Here have a look.
Isn't it amazing? And it doesn't end there. When it comes to Reggie Watts there are so many things to say and the most outstanding one is versatility. Indeed, he is probably the most versatile person I know followed only by Joshua Topolsky another contemporary leader of thought and provider of inspiration. From music to acting, there seems to be no end to the abilities and talents Mr. Watts has. I know I might sound repetitive, but I can't stress enough the fact that it is really necessary for people to have a broader scope of interests and things they are in to. Remember the fact that human beings have abilities that most of thee time go beyond the limitations we put onto ourselves, so if you think you might be good at something, just give it a try because it's really worth it. At least you might turn out to be good (perhaps not perfect) at something you never imagined doing.

Another thing that Reggie Watts stands out with is the fact that he is of mixed origin. Some of you might not find this outstanding at all, but I do believe that we live in a world were people are really segmented and sub-divided, taking refuge in what they call "their" culture, traditions and so on. And since Bob Marley, there hasn't been anybody from the world of showbiz that really stood out as a blend of cultures. Some might talk about Michael Jackson, but I guess that this is the worst example of that. It's not that Reggie Watts is a fervent defender of multi-ethnicity, no, where he best portrays this blend is in the genres and styles of performances he gives, ranging from techno to soul, from French to English. Isn't it wonderful that we have an example of someone who via his existence prove all the prejudice about race relations wrong. So, thank you Mr. Watts for being the delightful human you are. Peace, Love & Unity...
